Zoey

by Rachel
(Bastrop Texas Paige )

My cat is about 7 months old. The first time she got in heat and we let her outside she was gone for 7 hours and when she came back she was acting all weird. Her nipples started getting pink.

About two weeks later we felt her babies kick. She is about seven months old and we have read that most babies and mother cats die if they are under a year old.

If you have a story that is about a 7 month old cat that survived when she had her babies please send it to me on myspace at:

Rachel_Conti123@yahoo.com

Please, we are very scared.

Be there for her i was, in more ways than one x
by: Claire Lowe

I wouldn't worry too much, and just be there for her. My cat Marmalade became pregnant just like yours at around 9-10 months and she had too beautiful kittens which are now 8.5 months old called mork and mindy and we kept them both they love each other loads and follow each other around everywhere. Marmalade was brilliant in labour she cried loudly which was distressing for me but she did seem fine. the first born mindy came after around 2 hours and an hour later out poped mork. she cleaned them both, and fed them as if she had done it before. What a champ!! i didn't need to do anything accept provide a dark warm bed and spoke softy to her as she cried and looked at me. she became very close and followed me around while i got the kids off to bed, bless her.

Now the sad part, when the kittens were 10 days old, marmalade was begging to go outside, which she hadn't up to then and i let her out. i now wish i hadn't as some awful lads round here stole her(i wont say what they did its terrible) but the RSPCA and police are charging the main lad who stole her from my garden. I had to hand rear the kittens myself from 10 days, feeding them every 2 hours with a tiny bottle, encouraged them to wee and poo, and eventually litter train them and help them eat solids. i couldn't go into work, and could give them up, For marmalades sake.

It is very sad, me and my kids were deversated and still am. but my kittens are great and mork is the image of his mum, she would be proud we were really close.

good luck!
