Two Cats Are Always More Fun Than OneKay sent this story about Paris, Layla and a tom cat named ... Tom. Around the first of the year my daughter and I adopted two female littermates. We've had littermates in the past, and let me tell ya ... two are always more fun than one! They are two tiger cats; the darker one is named Paris and the lighter of the two is named Layla. The deal was, there were to be no litters of kittens; we would get them both fixed as soon as the weather warmed and they could stay outside most of the time. Well, one thing led to another, and Paris ended up pregnant. We had Layla fixed immediately. One litter we can handle, but two litters at nearly the same time would be out of the question. So here it is, mid August, and we're still waiting on the babies to arrive. I don't know the exact date she was exposed, but I do know what the babies will look like. The male that hung around, we dubbed him "Tom", looks just like Paris except he has a bushie tail. I feel sure her babies will be here nearly any day. She's getting so big, and all she wants to do is sleep, eat, and have her tummy rubbed...which I don't mind; I enjoy feeling the little ones move around inside her.
