The....WHAT?...Story Of My Cat

Last year, in the summer, I couldn't tell if my cat, Tigger, was pregnant or not. I wasn't even aware that she might become pregnant, I didn't look for signs...nope. I didn't do anything. Only play and feed her. Until, my friend's dad said that she was really big and that's when I just noticed it.
When my friend's dad touched her belly gently and he could feel strange things inside her belly. He said that she was pregnant but I thought it was only the start of her pregnancy because I was only a young cat owner and I didn't know much.
When I found out that a queen's nipples should be pink, I didn't know when the nipples were supposed turn pink. So, I still didn't know much and Tigger wouldn't let me look at her nipples. After I tried to look at it once and she scratched me, I didn't try to look again.
I researched a bit more and I didn't get to know much until...SURPRISE! My dad was working in the yard and could hear squeals of newborn kits somewhere. When he told me and my mom, we were like...WHAT? and we raced out to look for her and we found her in an old, broken oven.
Tigger gave birth to 5 kits and they were too cute that I couldn't leave them. Now, Tigger had another litter and this time, before she had the new kits, I was more aware. Now that I knew the complete cycle of preganacy, I could tell if Tigger was pregnant or not.
This time, I found out by many ways: she became quite fat, ate more, tried to get comfortable everywhere (I was assumming she was looking for a place for her kits) and her nipples turned pink. So, I think I know quite enough but I'm still more eager to find more secrets about the care of cats. I am very happy with all these cats around my life.
