The Big Surprise

My cat had disappeared for a whole week. I was thinking to myself: 'ohhhh great, another cat that ran away, just my luck'.
A few weeks later she appeared in my doorsteps like if nothing had happened. But this time she returned with a belly. At that moment I realized that my cat might be pregnant. Yup my suspicions were right. She was.
It was amazing watching her appetite grow and belly. My cat would normaly eat her cat cereal and hated can food. But throughout her pregnancy it was oppisite. She really didn't like the cereal anymore but ate 2 cans of cat food.
I was at my job working.. When I recieved the big news .. Yes! folks my cat had given birth over the night. She disappeared the day before and was nowhere to be seen at first.
I was worried and didn't know what to think. I said mommy blacky aka negrita ran away I can't find her anywhere. At that moment I had given up hope. What was I to do?
At about 11:00 in the morning I recieved a phone call from my mom telling me that my cat gave birth and that all this time she had been in the closet.
She had her kittens in her litter box but first she dumped all the sand litter on the floor leaving space for her and the kittens.
This was the most incredible experience of my life. Although I wanted to be there for my cat I am happy that she had her kittens.
