Tasha Gives Birth...

by Carol
(England)

The Proud Mother, Tasha

The Proud Mother, Tasha

We knew she was pregnant but thought she would be due in 2 weeks as she was not big at all.

In the morning I fed her as usual, she stood at the living room door miaowing for a while but I just thought it was because of the new kitten I had just bought. They were not used to each other yet.

A few hours later I was chatting on the phone. I noticed Tasha, who was led on the floor. She stood up miaowed, sat down and started licking herself, miaowed again and then there was a kitten on the floor.

I quickly got rid of my friend on the phone to help her. She didn't need it as she has previosly had 2 other litters, so she knows what to do.

I was shocked because I really wasn't expecting this at all. In the end we have ended up with 3 baby girls.

Mag, why are you doing a speech on that here? It is a really happy story and nobody said they were going to the adoption center. And, if you hate people letting their cats have multiple births, why don't we abort all but one? Would this make you happy? I am sure she has found homes for these kittens. And why have you come on a cat pregnancy site to rant on about somebody letting their cat become pregnant??

sad to hear about the multiple births!
by: mag

Please consider exactly how many kitties you alone have put on this earth...not just the litters your sweet cat actually had, but also the many litters each of those cats may have had!
Do you have any idea where each of those cats are today? Alive or dead? In experiments at labs testing your make-up? Dead on the road? Or making litter after litter the shelters are, if no-kill, are desperately trying to place?

Do the shelter cats a favor and get your cats fixed... adopt, adopt, adopt!

Please, please reconsider your multiple births!
