Surprise! A Kitten!

We were spending our summer in Florida. We left our cat Maya at home with Sara(my best friend) to look after her. On the 3rd week away from home, Sara said we'd have a surprise when we got home. I was confused.

She was right! When we got home, Maya had a single kitten to show us!

We named the orange tabby kitten Speckle, in honor of Sara's book and the fact Sara took the suprising birth so well! Now Maya is spayed, and Speckle is living with Sara, but we are all so happy!
