Success Story

A few weeks ago I wrote a story of how I lost a very special litter of 5 kittens due inexperience of the Queen.
Three weeks ago an older Queen started to change in her personality. She would not let me out of her sight. I thought she was just jealous over the extra attention I gave my previous Queen.
I was watching television and stroking her coat when she gave a very funny belch.
A few minutes later I felt my lap start to feel very wet. I had no idea what was hapening and she was crying to me and looking at me with the most pitable eyes.
I finally examined her and first glance I saw a worm coming out and then back in. After time went bye I decided that this worm could be the cause of her wettness so I took a dry sterile gauze pad and didn't let go when it wanted to go back into my Queen.
The "worm's" tail had started to dry off and it was fuzzy. Suddenly it hit me that this was a kitten coming back feet first. The first kitten was the one who took the most time. After 20 minutes of trying to get this "worm" out she pushed the first one out and then four more with no trouble.
I ended up with 2 bi-color reds, 1 seal point, 1 blue eyed white and finally 1 tortie point.
They are now 3 1/2 weeks old and doing great.
