My cat got pregnant at the age of 5 months. This was a shock to me, as I have had cats for 30 years and none of them became pregnant such a early age. But Cassi did.

When she was about 5 weeks pregnant she started bleeding. I took her to a vet which said she could give birth any day now, which would of meant she got pregnant 4 months.

I was very upset about this because we had phoned up vets for advise before we took her to one. Some of them was really nasty and said I was a unfit owner, which I am not. I love cats.

4 weeks later I'm still waiting for Cassi kittens to come. She has been bleeding since and I took her to the vet again but they have said she looks fine. So I really don't think there is anythin to worry about. But also they did say the kittens could be born dead.

Help! I have been in a complete mess as I do not want anythin to happen to Cassi or the kittens. So please do not say I am unfit or I should not be a cat owner. If i had known cats could get pregnant at such an early age I would never ever let her out.

That I don't know for sure it will be like a kitten giving birth to kittens .

Hey, I was just going to wish good luck with your cat and kittens when you get them. Knowing kittens that will be a handful. Congrats :-)

You said your cat got pregnant at 4 months... I have a kitten that we got and is smaller than she should be (she was taken away from her mother too early). My kitten does not seem to bleed but then again we did just notice it a couple days ago. She is getting bigger and bigger, she is more affectionate than ever, I hope we get kittens but im with you when you said you dont want anything to happen to your cat or your kittens. Good Luck :-)

hi, by the sound of it, your cat could be havin babys,i think it is all fantastic. birth of any animal. but my cassi she had 2 kittens ,but they died and 1 died inside her , that really upset me . just be lovin and she will be fine if she is heathy herself

don't panic these things happen nbut it's rare, the vets weren very kind were they which i think is rubbish as far as i knew it was about 10 - 11 month they first started to come into season but i know a lady who's six month old had perfectly healthy kittens (they were a surprise too).

you are not an unfit owner and for those vets that said you were they should go back to school for more training! its not unheard of a cat becoming pregnant at that age it happened to me the only diffrence is i didnt know untill she had them what a suprise for me dont be discuraged things happen in any birth i hope all turns out well for you an your babys all of them keep working with the vets and good luck.

i don't think ur a unfit owner. i have a cat named ellie i really don't know if she is pregnant she looks like it she is getting really fat . her belly move from side to side i don't know wat to do. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
