'I Was More Nervous Than Smoochie'Ghel from Florida read all the stories here and decided to add hers. Her Smoochie just became mom! I'm from Florida and my queen Smoochie just gave birth 2 days ago. The experience was awesome and at the same time I was more nervous than my cat. Before Smoochie gave birth, she was always next to me and wanted some attention. And I knew that she will soon give birth. Smoochie has always been a sweetheart and she loves being around me, so I knew that she won't give birth if I'm not there. And I was right. When I came home she was right there waiting for me. It was so funny because I was more nervous than she was. I kept waiting and waiting, then her first kitty came. At first she didn't know what to do since it's her first time, but as soon as she heard the kitty cried she started licking her. Then the next 4 deliveries she was able to picked up and no problems at all. She did very good because her labor was about 4 hours. Just right off now the kittens seem to be really healthy and no complications, and they are just so adorable. By the way they are pure breed Himalayan and they are so gorgeous. They all got the color form their mom which is creamy lilac. I took a lot of pictures, so if you guys are interested in seeing them just e-mail me. Good luck with ya all with pregnant queens.
