Sasha's First Litter

(San Antonio, TX)

I found Sasha Oct 2010, I wasn't planning on keeping her but I ended up keeping here. I couldn't say no, she is just the prettiest siamese, great temperament! Loves being inside.

On Jan 11th she got outside and didn't come back for 3 days. So I was pretty sure she was going to be pregnant. AND she was. She never got moody, just wanted lots of love, sleep and food lol.

March 19th 3am. She jumped up onto the bed and laid in my lap area and started having her kittens, as soon as I realized what was going on. I grabbed the box that was intended for that lol and put it next to my bed and got her into with her 1st baby.

The whole time she was in labor she would call to me and wanted me to pet her and rub her belly, she would just pur and then you would see her push. The first little baby was all white so I'm pretty sure it's going to look siamese too.

About 30 mins after the first baby the second one came, the smallest and quitiest of all of them and the only one that was different. A little stripped one, so small it just fit into the palm of your hand. Then an hour and a half passed and she had baby number 3 and 4 bother all white probably will look siamese as well.

The first day she didn't want to leave the box at all. But as soon as we showed her that her food and water were right out side the box she jumped up and started to chow down lol.

After having them I had to change the towels. She was ok with me taking one baby out but when I wasn't putting them back she got a little upset, after she realized what I was doing she was ok and I put her babies back she jumped back in, checked them and went back to eating.

She seems to be ok if I pick the kittens up, but puts her gaurd up a little when my 3 year old comes into the room. I'm really surprised it's almost been a week and she hasn't tried once to move them somewhere else. She seems to be very content with her box right next to the bed.

Everything that I had heard was that they would go hide or not want me to be around at all. So I'm very surprised she has wanted me and has tolerated me being around her and the babies.

I'm so excited to see how they grow and their little personalities! I'm glad I took this little stray in!
