My cat pregnancy story is not really a happy one and I am looking for possible answers. My new husband's almost 2 year old cat has always been an outdoors cat and only just got pregnant about two months ago.

She seemed to be very healthy but two days ago gave birth to six underdeveloped kittens. They were not stillborn but died soon after birth.

What happened? She seems to be back to her old self now but I'm keeping her in for a while to give her time to heal.
