Rescued From The Woods

She's had a rough life so far!!
First let me start off by saying that never in a million years would I want to have a cat. I'am more of a dog person! Don't get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY love all animals, just not all that fond of a smelly litter box and all that stuff!!!
However, behind the place that I work was at one point about 5 cats that were homeless! 3 adults and 2 kittens. Well, for the past 8 months I'd say I have been feeding them! All the business have, so they don't go without, that's for sure.
I finally decided with the hot weather and the bad rains that we get in the south that this was not the proper living conditions for any animal!!! Heck I'd hate it!
So then, one of the ladies I work with brought in a trap!!! Bingo 2 kittens in one shot!!! One of our Members at the Credit union Adopted them together 2 brothers!!! Then I got another one, but she was NASTY!!! Not used to people, so I guess she was just scared. So, I let her back outside!! I know that was mean, but she really was nasty!
One of the ladies at the other store was able to get her and took her to paws to the rescue. To date, her too was ADOPTED!!!
Now 3 down 2 to go right? WRONG!!!!
One of the cats is now PREGNANT!!!
The one cat who would come to me when I called her and ALWAYS let me pet her! There was no way I was going to let mommy birth her babies outdoors and in this heat! NOWAY!!!
I told my husband I was going to bring her home. He didn't mind being that he likes cats, so last week, when I left work I drove around back, called "mommy" come on baby. She came right to me! When I put her in the cat carrier I said to her "your days of being homeless are over".
Let me just finish by telling you that I'm in love! She is the sweetest cat EVER!!!
My husband said the first night we had her home that she meowed when I left the room!
I come home to check on her everyday! She is my baby!
Now the question you all might ask is......Will you keep a kitten???
My kids says YES so we shall see!!!
I will keep you all posted to when My Grandkiddies are born!
