pregnant wild cat
by: Pam

I have a wild pregnant cat in my yard. I have fed her since last fall. A month a go I noticed her tummy looked big. Today it is really big and I know she is pregnant. She comes when I call but she still will not let me get any closer than 8 feet from her. I am worried because last summer we had a lot of raccoons running through my yard. They killed my two ducks and I am worried that they will find the kittens when they are born. I wish I could trap the mom cat and put her in a safe place before the kittens are born. Any suggestions????

Good luck
by: Marc

Hi Cassidy, thanks for your story. Pregnant ferals often have a hard time as most people don't care about them, but luckily there are cat lovers like you. I'm glad you found someone to adopt the kitten and wish him (and you!) all the best.
