Peaches Is Pregnant

During my last vacation we traveled from Rotten Groton, CT where I am presently stationed, to my hometown in GA. One of the things that my wife and I did is photograph trains, and lot of them.

While we were taking pictures of a passing Norfolk Southern freight train, a small dark calico Manx came up to us, begging us for food.

She seemed to be underfed, but loveable. She eagerly jumped into my car and traveled back to my step-mother's house, where she became "one of the family" overnight. After 3 days, you had a hard time telling by her behavior that she was a stray.

She traveled from GA to Ct quite well.

But, she snuck outside while our neighbor's tom-cat was out. She did not even go into heat before she left.

Now she has a large basketball stomach, and has a hard time getting up the stairs and onto the bed to roll in my uniform without help. With how much she asks for help getting something and when she is hungry and such, I am confident that she will ask for help when the kittening time comes.
