My Stray Queen Problem. HELP!

by Samantha
(Mayport, FL)

Mama in my shower

Mama in my shower

I have a stray cat that I feed. When I first moved in last March she was pregnant (I call her mama). She had that litter and there was 5 kittens born: all light brown and white. They would all come and eat at my and my friend's house and climb into our car engines.

One day I pulled out of my drive way and flung a kitten out of my car killing it. I was heartbroken, I felt so bad and mama blamed one of my cats for killing it and would attack him.

Soon the other kittens started to disappear untill only one was left (I call him Buddy). I still feed both mama and Buddy regularly. Mama finally forgave my cat and they get along great now (all my cats are fixed).

They get along so well that when I leave the door open they would come in and eat out of their bowls.

One day when I did this they came in to eat and they ventured farther into the house and found their way to my bedroom. Now they won't leave so I have 2 strays in my bathroom. It wouldn't be too much of a problem except mama is pregnant again and I'm not sure when she is going to give birth. (I think she was looking for a nest, that's why she came in further).

She is very fat and wants the other cats around her all the time (her son and my cats). I can get close enough to scrach their heads but that's it. No rescue agencies are taking cats right now.

If anyone could please give me some information on how I could get closer to mama so when she does have the kittens I can properly socialize them and find them new homes it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
