My Feral Mommy Cat and her Kittens

by Angela
(Daly city, CA)

My feral mommy cat and her babies

My feral mommy cat and her babies

The feral mommy cat, Tum Tum, gave birth to three little kittens. I have been feeding the mommy cat for a while, and I knew she had kittens.

Her kittens used to hide behind the bushes until one day while I was feeding Tum Tum, she meowed out once and the three little babies came out to greet me. I was happy.

But unfortunately, some strange people came and captured Tum Tum and two of her babies, leaving one poor baby alone in the bushes for two weeks.

Those people finally released the mommy but kept the two babies for "adoption". Each adoption will bring $100 "processing fee" to them. Tum Tum came back and searched for the last baby of her.

Now the little baby is 6 months old and is very friendly with me. I wish I could take "it" home but my family will not allowed me to do so.

I am so afraid that the baby is a "SHE" and will get pregnant soon. I don't mind take "it" to have it "spayed" but I don't know where to keep "it" while it is recovering from the surgery.

I kept a feral mom and her litter
by: Anonymous

in my garage in a huge cage for six weeks. Each day I fed them and changed the litter box I kept in the cage.

After 4 weeks I let the kittens out so they would get used to the human touch. All the kittens were placed in homes.

It is ten years later and mama cat still is here and sleeps on the front porch on a heating blanket.

It took me 12 hours to trap mama after she had that litter. I didn't give up and it all worked out.

Please spay the feral cat
by: Anonymous

Please do get it spayed. Otherwise, there will be many more unwanted cats roaming around the neighborhood. You can always keep the recovering cat in a crate in your garage for a couple of days....or in a spare bathroom.
