My Elsie-moo Baby
by Jtteno
(Ohio)
Almost a year ago my neighbor's cat had kittens. I love cats but I was just getting into my first year of high school and knew that if I got a new cat I would want it to be inside. My mom doesn't like cats so this would be a problem you see.
So I refused to go see the kittens and everything. Well when the kittens got old enough to be given away my neighbors informed my mom they planned to dump them off in a field somewhere.
My mom may not like cats but she had been visiting these kittens and had fallen in love with this little white and black one. So right before my birthday she convinced me to go see it and I wound up bringing her home =). I named her Elsie-moo or E-moo for short.
Well my best friend's cat had kittens and her mom went to dump them before they were even three weeks old. Me and my friend put them in a box and tried our hardest to find them homes but only one out of the four got a home, then the next day another did but without its mom, it just didn't make it and died a few days later =(.
My mom being a n=big softie let my sister get the third gray kitten. He is doing well and is getting so big! He is over twelve weeks old. We call him Ninja due to his color cuz we can't see him very well and he likes to attack us. We got into the habit of saying, "you've been ninja-ed" lol. Elsie and Ninja have been best friends but now... Elsie is getting slightly fatter around her tummy and her nipples are showing and starting to hang down lower and she has been so lovable, it's driving me insane!!!
Could she be pregnant??
