thanks so much for all your kind words. Alfie was so special and iam blessed for the time i had with him.
i have 4 cats now and they are my babies. i moved further into the country and am no longer living by any roads so my babies are safe and have a great time hunting in the fields for mice :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. :( I adore orange cats so this really got to me. I couldn't imagine the pain I would be in if my Louise got hit by a car. I see myself one day swerving into a tree and totaling my car in an attempt to avoid hitting an animal :D

I am so sorry to hear about little Alfie. That really saddens me to know someone would hit a kitten and just leave it there. Thanks to you, he knew he was loved. That was a very good thing you did for him.
