My cats Cali and Spice

I have two different stories about my cats Cali and Spice. They are Mother (Cali)and Daughter(Spice).

I had Cali and Spice since birth. Cali was born June 6th 2001 and Spice April 26th 2004. Spice was a surprise. Cali gave birth to five kittens on April 25th. The last kitten came out at 11pm.

I didn't go to bed til 3am. I woke up at 12pm to find a 6th kitten "Spice". Judging by how dry she was, she had to be born between 6am-9am.

I notice Spice is kinda "special", I guess that's why it took her so long to get out. She couldn't find her way LOL.

Cali had her 1st litter in March 21 2003. She woke me up screaming.

It was about 8am at the time. I found her on my pillow screaming. She decided that she need to latched to my arm with her teeth.

It kinda seem like she was mad at me. I quickly grabbed off my pillow and put her in her box. I petted her to calm her down. She began to calm down.

I was so sleepy so I crawled back in bed. She zoomed right after me. I returned her back to her box. Then a little gray kitten I named Rain popped out. Cali gave birth to 6 kittens.

I had another cat who have given birth 2 weeks before. Cali often stole kittens from the other litter.

Especially one certain one "Ernie". I still have Ernie, he's 4 years old now.

Cali has had a total of six litters from 2003-2005. Her last litter was number six.

Cali always had a litter of 6-7 kittens. Cali got fixed in 2006.

Spice had her first litter March 21 2005 (same day as Cali's 2 years later).

Spice was quiet about her birth. She was more calm than Cali. As soon as the first kitten came out, she started to bat at him like he was a toy. I snapped at her to quit. Every kitten that came out she batted at them like they were her toys. She didn't hurt them but it wasn't nice.

Spice had six kittens, two girls and four boys. Sadly four died later on in the weeks. She had a look-a-like but she passed.

All were left was her two boys named Jaz and Ed. Spice often beat them up. We often made jokes about we were going to call Child services on Spice LOL.

Spice had a bad habit of picking on her kids.

Everyday I messed with them. Jaz and Ed found new homes. Spice wasn't happy about her kids/play toys were gone. I bet they were happy to get away from her.

Spice was a good Momma. Spice too was fixed in 2006. Spice only had one litter. Sometimes I wished I let her have another. Spice is from Cali's 3rd litter.

Spice is named after her Grandma "Spice". They look a like and act a like. Spice never got to see her Grandma. Momma-Spice ran off 4 months before her birth.
