My Cat Tigerlilly

Tigerlilly stretching out (7 months)

My cat Tigerlilly is the most amazing animal I have ever met. I adopted her when she was just 7 weeks old and she was very emaciated and had worms and an excessive amount of fleas then.

When we brought her home she wouldn't stop vomitting for the first few days but that was probably due to the amount she was eating. At that time, Tigerlilly had intense social problems and not only was frightened of me and my family but of her own sister that we had also adopted along with our other two cats.

From then, I spent much time with Tigerlilly, training her and socialising her with other animals and people. As the months past, Tigerlilly put on a lot of weight and hair and became a very social cat although it was clear that she had a special attachment to me.

Tigerlilly and I are best friends. It always cheers me up when she jumps up on the bed in the morning and affectionately rubs her face on mine and then settles herself down on my lap. Usually I find this irresistable and so I lay with her for an extra 10 minutes or so.

Tigerlilly follows me everywhere - even to the toilet! Once I was having a shower and Tigerlilly strolled in and - defying the rule of nature - jumped in aswell and appeared to love the water!

Right now Tigerlilly is in heat and I will be using her for breeding as a queen along with her sister, Ashton. Ashton is already pregnant and I suspect that Tigerlilly will be aswell soon. They will make great kittens as the sisters are half himalayan persians and our boys are burmese crosses.

There is much in store for my Tigerlilly. Tomorrow we will be going on a shopping spree to the pet shop!
