Okay now I am worried about my 4 month old kitten she's getting spayed in Oct. But after reading your story I'm getting worried that someone with steal my little baby. Is it possible for a 4 month old to get pregnant? 'Cause she has gotten out before for a little while,
I'm telling, you, she is an escape artist, she goes under our reel screen without making a sound. :P

I can't stand people who hurt animals that way. We have a few wild turkeys that live around our house. We named them Turkey and Sandwiches. (Sandwiches has an unnamed baby.) My family went camping for a few days, and when we came home, Turkey was dead in the backyard. We are sure that it was a dog because Turkey wasn't eaten or dragged off. Even if people don't purposefully make their dogs hurt cats or other animals, they should know that letting them lose will cause such things. Our neighbors never have dogs loose when we're around, but when we aren't, I assume they stop caring. We have feral cats also, and some of them have probably been lost to dogs as well.

I cried when I read your story. I just again got a rescued cat and discovered right away it was pregnant (young cat). It had been abandoned in a park. I currently have 4 other cats (but keeping them away). I always have my cats neutered and keep them in the house as I live on a major highway, but am looking forward to having the kittens. I hope you get some resolution with the court and those boys. I wonder how they would feel if somebody took their dogs and threw them to the lions at the zoo. Don't worry, we will all be reunited with all our beloved pets someday.

That is an incredibly sad story, and just goes to show our planet is overpopulated with sick disgusting freaks.
And sadly, they won't get much Justice, since animal rights don't seem to matter.
I think true justice, would be to have those two guys taken into the woods where they too would be ripped apart by dogs.
But they will probably just walk away with a fine, or a minimal jail sentence.

I am so sorry about what happend to Marmalade... and I can not belive people would do such a thing... I have two cats and I dont let them out anymore. I had three but we found her in the dirt on the side of the road eaten by something but we dont know what it is. mayb it was a dog... I dunno! still im REALLY sorry about your cat. She started out as a rescued animal and went to a new home than somebody thought they had the right to feed her to their dogs!!!!!!!!!!really sorry all my best wishes go to the kittens!

It is shocking, and the kids were deverstated, there was no need for it. As for the lads who did this had 5 mins of "entertainment" was that really worth it. the kittens are great, healthy and very loving. The RSCPA are slow but very good, and she said there is stacks of evidence, and with marmalades body they cant get away with it. When people teach their animals to savage living things, its no surprise that dogs turn on humans and children, and then they are put down. When really its their owners and teachers that want putting down. Thanks for your kind words, a sad story but a happy ending in the end. Please people just becareful, there are some cruel evil people out there. xxx

i am so sorry 2 hear about marmalade, how could any1 do that 2 a cat.i had a cat called sue, she was savaged by 2 dogs in her own garden. the owner of the dogs just stood there,then walked away. nothin could be done we phoned everybody, police, r,s,p,c,a. cats protection. every1. no 1 ever thinks what this does do the owners we bring them up from kittens they r our family , and some heartless people do this , i say the law should be changed.but i had no luck in doin this . hope the kittens are doin well .. and i have hand feed 2 wk old kittens and i enjoyed every min of it . so please enjoy them ..

People who do cruel and hurtful things towards another living breathing thing whether their human or animal it doesn't matter. They shouldn't have done that they didn't have the right to do that.In my own opinion people like that in the world don't deserve to live. I am a 110% with you. I proud to hear that you raised the kittens for Marmalade in her honour as i would of done for Kea if that ever happened.
Thank you for sharing your story with me after hearing what happened to Marmalade i will never let my cats outside.
