My Cat Loses Blood From Behind

Question:
We don't know how long our cat is pregnant but she is very big and her nipples big and pink. But now there is blood coming out from behind? Is it normal? Is she going into labour or is it maybe a miscarriage?

Answer:
A bloody discharge could mean an abortion, or birth that comes too soon. If the discharge smells it could also mean one kitten is dead. Whatever, don't hesitate to call a vet. If you are in time, it may only lead to miscarriage.
