My Cat Is Pregnant But She Acting a Little Funny

by Danielle

My pregnant cat

My pregnant cat

My cat is pregnant but she acting a lil funny. Today I was doing dishes and she started to fallow me all around the house and she was meowing.

When I went to the room she would fallow me there, if I go to the restroom she waiting outside the door...I don't understand..she never was like that..

When I was making dinner she bit me on my leg, like if she got mad because I wasn't giving her attention. When I was watching TV she bit my hand, shorts and t-shirt.

Does anyone know why she's acting like this?..Is this because she's close to her due date?

my cat is pregnant also, 1 year old, and she has just started to act funny the last few days - climbing behind my furniture, trying to dig her way into boxes, meowing a lot, knocking things off my shelves, etc. She is still eating though, so I think she still has a few days.....

Strange behavior

Just before I saw this picture I was looking online about pregnant cats, and according to what I read, your cat will often become much more affectionate to you and demand attention. I geuss this is what happened to your cat, and when she didn't get what she wanted, she got annoyed and started biting you.

My cat Gabriella is one year old and is pregnant with her first litter and is doing the same exact things. Your question actually helped me out a lot! I mean if I'm in the bathroom or even the shower she has to be right there, in my lap none the less half of the time. I'm hoping that I'll be expecting some little cutie pies soon. ^_^

I had a cat named Layla who was fixing to have her first litter and she done something worse! Everytime you would reach for her she would bite ya. So we took her to the doctors to make sure she was alright. The doctor says that most cats mill act like that when they are pregnant. I hope the babies are cute. Good luck!

by: Anonymous

my cat was doing this this morning, running around my feet and meowing continuously. Now she is purring loads but she has give birth to something but its deffinately not a kitten. This was over 5 hours ago and there is still no kitten in sight. Im sure the placenta comes after the birth so im worrying what it is!
