My Cat Haden

My Beloved cat Haden was a beautiful calico. She had her first litter September 20, 2009. She was very scared!

I am 11 years old and loved my cat and animals. Well when she had the kittens she was so scared that I couldn't leave her side without her following me. I knew how to take care of animals well and decided to guide her through birth.

When she gave birth to two boys and two girls, they were going to die. I could tell because they were cold and barely moving. I couldn't leave the bathroom without her meowing like crazy and following me.

She depended on me to help her and I did. I quickly ran to my neighbors and borrowed plastic gloves that they used in hospitals and quickly filled it up with hot water. They loved the heat of it and soon they were warmed up and meowing for milk.

I looked more closely at them and saw that one of the boys were also a calico and only one of them looked like the father cat, which was orange and white with tiger markings.

I helped her feed them and take care of them, they were almost 3 weeks old when the worst happened. One of the cats got stuck and broke his neck, he died 5 minutes later with the name Samuel.

The kittens are now healthy 5 month olds and are with good families. All because I helped Haden and saved them from death.
