My Cat Had Kittens Young!

by Raymond
(Pennsylvania)

They say that you should never let your cat get pregnant under a year! That's true but my cat got pregnant at 4 months old and gave borth to a healthy litter of 8 kittens at 7 months old!

Her name was Stadie and she was a great mom. She always stayed by there side so I would always put food up there and water so she doesn't have to go far and leave the kittens.

She had her kittens after 63 days and the kittens are strong and healthy. All the kittens started to open their eyes after a week or so. They are really fun and started to walk after 2 to 3 weeks old!

They were all different colors, two were grey, one was white, three were orange and dark orange mixed, one was black, and the last one, which is my favorite, had a little bit of all the colors in it.

My story isn't saying that you should let your cat get pregnant real young! It's just that I was real lucky and you couldn't have asked for a better mommy than Stadie.

Now this story takes place back from 5 years ago. She now has given birth to seven more litters!

The first three was four kittens, the next two litters were 5 kittens, and the last two were only three. She has given birth to a total of 36 kittens which were ALL healthy and strong. We got good homes for all of them.

Even now I am expecting a new litter from her. I'm guessing there will be 5 to seven in there. All I know for sure is that she will be a good mom...

I hoped you all enjoyed my story!!!

When you're in a not good position and have no money to go out from that, you would need to receive the loan. Because it would help you emphatically. I get consolidation loans every single year and feel myself good just because of it.

Poor Kitties
by: Anonymous

I know you've heard over and over again that you should have gotten your cat fixed. Hopefully, by now, you have. I just have to say, not only will those kittens have kittens and so on, but all the kittens who luckily found homes really must have prevented the same number of other cats and kittens from getting homes. You have to think about all of those kitties too.

Spay your cat
by: Anonymous

it shocks me that you are so happy to contribute to the over-population problem. Sure you love those kittens but i bet you didn't know that in seven years a breeding pair of cats can become responsible for over 72,000 cats. Thousands of those cats will end up strays,in shelters,or hit by cars.So please for the sake of those cats get your cat spayed as soon as possible

i agree - get your cat fixed
by: Anonymous

I also agree. This story kind of makes me sick. I volunteer at the Humane Society and I think that if anyone out there thinks that cats need to be breed or get pregnant they just need to take a trip to the humane society and see all the cats there that are homeless. Also most of them get put down anyway because there are to many cats and no one to want them. Please get your poor little cat fixed she was just a baby herself when she became a mother. This should have never happened.

Please get your cat fixed!
by: Anonymous

As sweet as your story sounds. It broke my heart that you never got your female cat fixed. Even after realizing that she did indeed get pregnant at 4 months I would have thought you would have gotten her taken care of after she delivered???? Also very happy to hear you found homes for all the kittens but do you know how many unwanted cats will be born from all of the 36 kittens she gave birth to? If I am remembering correctly, one unspade or nuetered cat can create thousands of cats in a very short period of time,.Cats are put down daily at shelters because not enough loving people will take them in.I am a cat lover and every single cat I have ever had was a stray that needed a home. The first thing I do is take them to the vet for shots and deworming and set an appt. for getting them fixed. You sound like a loveing cat owner but seriously think about getting her fixed hun. God Bless :) Maryann (Owner of 3 strays at this time)
