Moody Mama Cat

Well, it all started the first time my cat came back from the woods after she was gone for a week. We noticed her belly was bigger than it usually was. We weren't surprised since she already had kittens in May and they're only three monthes old right now.

She constantly has mood swings now though! One minute she's curled up on me relaxed and quiet, and the next minute she's growling at her 3 month old kittens for getting too close to her. She's just crazy!

It gets worse, her mother is staying close to home for once. Don't get me wrong I'm happy she's finally hanging around, but she's not to fond of the kittens already here.(right about now your probably wondering the names of all the cats in the story, Pregnant cat: Ashpelt, Ashpelt's mother: Miss Kitty, the three kittens: S'more, Honey and Oreo)

Meanwhile Ashpelt's so busy meowing for us to go pet her and rub her belly, she leaves the kittens lonley so they start meowing until I carry her down to them. It's total chaos here in Winnebago. Hopefully the rest of her pregnancy will go smoother!
