Lloyd

Yes, Lloyd. We thought she was a boy until she got pregnant. (She is a feral cat, so we couldn't really get ahold of her to check.)

The problem was that she was only 10 or 11 months old when she had her kittens, and being so immature still, she didn't take care of them. We found two, and we didn't know whether there were more or not.

We tried to help, but they were premature and didn't make it without mom. The problem has repeated itself, and Lloyd, now a little over a year old, is pregnant again. She looks like she'll pop any day now.

I can't stop worrying about the kittens. Will she leave them again? I really hope not. Will she repeat the pattern, or will being older (though not larger) help this time?

Lloyd had those kittens, but isn't taking care of them. I know, because she's always here. However, it may not have been her fault, because she adopted two older orphaned kittens. It seems like she wants to be a mommy cat.
