Is Having Only One Kitten Normal?

Question:
My cat had one kitten. Is that normal to have only one kitten?

Answer:
Most get three to five kittens, but one does happen too, though it's not common. Sometimes there's a significant delay, for example 12-24 hours, between the birth of two kittens, but if your cat's seems to feel well and not in labor, everything should be fine.
