Innova EVO is amazing and what every one who loves their cat should feed. It has the highest meat content out of any dry and I'm confident that I'm feeding a diet based on the latest cat nutrition research. I have not yet met many people whose cats do not like the taste.

I would like to share with other cat lovers in the world what I have come to realize about most commercial cat foods.

Here is the ingredients to the number 1 selling "Premium" Cat food that Vets recommend:
Chicken By-Product meal, Ground Wholegrain Corn, Brewers Rice, Animal Fat, Corn Gluten Meal, Chicken Liver Flavour.
Wow. 1 part meat to 3 parts grain, when did people (and vets) forget that cats are carnivores.

And to think cats don't even have the necessary enzyme to digest grain. How can a cat possibly have optimal health eating that its whole life?

Then again, vet clinics might go out of business.
As an animal lover it strongly concerns me that so many cat food brands put so much grain in their foods and skimp out on good quality proteins and some of these foods claim to be a "good quality" diet.

I wonder how many cats needlessly suffer from health problems from being fed a diet that is non biologically correct.
