I adopted my Sphynx from this cattery. I traveled there to get my male kitten. I was informed his eye was scratched by his a liter mate and to get some ointment from the vet to treat it.
When I got him home, and to my vet I was told he had a corneal ulcer and after $1400 in vet bills his eye was saved, but because the ulcer ruptured part of his cornea will be stuck to the clear part of his eye.
After I contacted the owner to address the issue I was told I would be reimbursed the purchase price. After 2 months I inquired to where the payment was and then was told that I would be able to get another kitten, because they didn't have the money to refund me. I was also okay with that, and picked a new kitten out. THEN was told that kitten was having all sorts of issues with it's nose and the vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. I said I didn't want to take on another cat that might have health issue and said I would opt for a financial refund from money she received for this current litter.
Anyway after many emails and many many months I was told they would send me $300, less than what I purchased my original kitten for. I gave the check 2 weeks to make it to my house....all other attempts to contact the user by email have not been returned.
All I can say is buyer beware.....I love my little guy, however I could have bought 2 much closer to home for the price I had to spend to get this poor kitten healthy. I think he's lucky I was able to get him.
