This is a bit of a fate involved story. My partner and I came across a stray in a car park what we thought was a kitten of about 2 1/2 months.
She was skinny as a rake and looked desparate for a feed so we took her home with us and to our surprise she came with us with no hesitate and completely loving the 10 min drive to her new home.
Anyway the past couple of weeks go by and she's gaining weight, all over her body and she's looking quite healthy. My partner and I had no idea we had picked up a pregnant stray until the last 2 weeks for her pregnancy because that's when she ballooned up quite significantly.
We took her the the vets and he confirmed what we had thought and estimated that we had at least another 2 weeks to go. He gave us info on what we needed to know and the usual stuff but my partner and I were still in a bit of shock and didn't quite listen to everything the vet had told us.
Today is the 2nd week and guess what happens? Our now domesticated stray has her kittens. So my partner and I end up saving a stray and her litter of 7 kittens and we couldn't be happier!
