They Are Soooo Cute!

Prissy gave birth to five kittens without any problems, Christina from the US reports. A story that makes you happy!

Around the beginning of October, Prissy walked through our front door and made herself at home. It's now the end of November and she's still here! :-)

She was pregnant and had 5 kittens on November 17th. All of them are gorgeous and healthy. There's not a runt in the bunch.

She wouldn't let me leave her side when she was in labor. Labor lasted about 45 minutes before the first kitten came out. Then it was about 30 minutes between each kitten. I didn't have to do a thing.

Momma let me and my husband pick the kittens up the first night she had them. We've been picking them up every day - but only when they are awake and not feeding. We leave them alone when they are sleeping - but it is sooo hard because they are sooo cute!

It's now day 10 and their little eyes are already open! They even recognize when I'm there. They let me rub their little tummies, even roll over and stretch their legs out! I'm so surprised that Momma lets me do that - and how responsive they've become to my husband and me.

I can't wait to see them get bigger and start exploring!
