The Christmas Cat
Christy is a true Christmas cat. Read here why Christmas means so much to her and her owner Lauren from New Zealand: On the Christmas Eve of 1998 my family and I had just moved into our new home in the countryside where I noticed a stray kitten wondering the paddock. We later discovered it had cat flu and nursed it back to health. Christy (we named her in honor of Christmas) unfortunately though lost an eye from the cat flu. When she grew older she fell pregnant so we fed her well, expecting a healthy litter of kittens. Time went on, and on Christmas Eve (one year after finding our sick kitten Christy) she gave birth to ONE, big beautiful kitten named Angel. She was so big she was born with a 'kink' in her tail, (we think it is because she was too big for the womb) and had to learn to crawl with her tummy dragging on the floor. Angel has just turned 6 years old, and is happy and healthy as is her mother!
