Charolette Just Became A Mommy

by Isabelle
(Bracebridge, Ontario)

I got Charolette from my friends grandparents barn, she is the sweetest thing and follows me everywhere, even around the barn she never left my side.

When I got her home and took her to the vet they said she was expecting kittens in the next month or so. I was happy since I've never seen newborn kittens or puppies.

After 8 weeks of waiting I started to think maybe something had gone wrong. Charolette is a little over a year old and I'm not sure if this is her first litter or not; so I was a little worried.

Today I decided that I was gonna keep her in my room and see what happend, well I went for a short nap and when I awoke there were 2 tiny little kittens in the nest.

Charolette is a very snuggly cat so when I saw her snuggling her little babies I was so happy, I think she's gonna be a great mommy.

Charolette is a short hair turtle shell, with black and orange markings and her one kitten looks just like her without the orange on its back. The other kitten is dark gray or black with orange stripes, it kinda remindes me of halloween.
