Charli Finally Pops

by Soph
(Wodonga)

A few months ago me and my boyfriend rescued a cat from the pound. We were told she had lived on the street and that she was about 7 months old.

When we got her home we began to think she was way to friendly to be a street cat and that she was taking to her new house well and the two meals a day even better. She was getting big - FAST.

When we found out she was pregnant I was really worried because of her age. So we took really good care of her and about three months on we were starting to wonder if she was ever going to go into labor.

At two o'clock on the 7th of this month my boyfriend woke me.

"Charli is doing laps of our bedroom floor and she sounds really high pitched", e screamed.

It was only after we turned on the lights that we realized the first of the seven to come was here in the morning. Charli had seven kittens. We lost two to still born and a following day later we lost one more.

I am hoping our four little babies are goin to make it. Charli is doing very well and we are so proud... but take about getting your money's worth. We paid for one cat. Little did we know we were bringing eight home with us ;-)

I thought they spayed kitties that went to the pound before they put them up for adoption. Congratulations, I hope all the babies find great homes!
