Cezar

by Nashwa Kamel
(Algiers)

Cezar after the first operation.

Cezar after the first operation.

My cat’s name is Cezar. Cezar was born with two brothers in front of my home gate; I used to feed them daily morning and night. After a while one of the brother died in car accident, the second brother was poisoned. Cezar stayed alone, I loved him so much and he also loved me.

Every morning we were waiting for each other. Once Cezar disappeared, I was worried about him. I asked everybody in the street about Cezo, finally after 36 hours I found him hurt in my neighbor’s garden.

First I fed him, then I started looking for a veterinary but I could not find at that time. I decided to take Cezar to my home and try to look after him until I find a good veterinary.

Actually Cezar was in a bad situation because he could not walk. After a week I went with Cezar to a very good pet’s clinic. When Doctor examined him he decided that Cezar needed an urgent operation because his pelvis was broken and his right thigh was disjointed.

Cezar passed the operation successfully and started moving at home. After three weeks I noticed that Cezar could not use his left leg properly, and then I went again to his doctor, he said that he needed another operation because his knee is dislocated. I felt so petty for my nice kitty but no choice!

Cezar passed the second operation and after one week Cezo became fine and happy because he could walk and climbed the chairs. Now Cezar lives in my home, I decided to adopt him forever; he plays, jumps and runs all the time.

I am so happy when I see him conducts like any normal cat as if nothing happened to him.
