And Four More Cats To Feed ...

Terry's home has become a kind of cat shelter. Imagine this would happen to you!

We live in the country and someone is always dumping a cat that seems to find it's way to our house. Over the past few years we have had 5 females show up and leave us with their children. One mama died, leaving us three little brothers to bottle feed.

Most of the kittens have ended up being our house cats. When we could finally make no more of them indoor cats, we spayed/neutered the next litters and they became our outside cats.

This winter has been extremely cold here and one day I went outside to find a new cat lurking in the bushes. I took her some food and left. The next day, there she was again and again the food went outside.

I had no sooner put down the food and turned to go inside, when out of the corner of my eye .... 4 miniature versions of mama kitty appeared. I put straw in a large wooden box under our porch and they have decided to make it their new home.

The problem is, she seems to be pregnant again and the first kittens aren't even weaned yet!
