Cat Lover For LifeMelissa from the USA never liked cats until she got Garfield. Now she has two cats and ... four kittens! Hi. I am a proud owner of two wonderful cats: Garfield (the male) & Milly (the female). Garfield was the first cat I ever had - I got him last May. I never really liked cats, but my son & I moved into an apartment & couldn't bring our dog. I saw an ad for a free kitten in the paper & went & got him for a surprise for my son. Oh - I fell in love. He is awesome. Garfield is just like a human. He talks & talks & is sooo sweet. I always thought cats were real hyper & sneaky & aggressive. Garfield showed me different. He is so laid back & u can love on him all day & he won't get mad enough to scratch or bite. Milly came into the picture in Sept. of this year. She's great, but keeps more to herself. Well we realized she was pregnant about two weeks ago, though unexpected, I was thrilled to have little Milly's & Garfields running around. Well we were hoping they were Garfields; a black & white cat had been hanging around our house. Well my son & I went to the lake Sunday & came back to find four precious additions to our family. By the way, they are gray (the color of Milly) & black & white (the color of the "Handsome Stranger"). Well we stopped trying to convince my son they are not Garfield's. Anyway, Milly had her babies under our bed. What a surprise! We had no idea it was even close for her to have them. Well they are too precious!! Four little bundles of joy! Oh & the cutest thing, I looked under my son's bed, that's where she keeps them & she had one of my son's tiny little stuffed kittens with her babies. It was so sweet. Well I am a cat lover for life!
