Cat frenzy, FOUR Labours!
by J
(Wellborn)
Well, I have to adimt this is getting odd. We always have a cat give birth at every house we've lived in (four total!). Four different packs of kitties!
The first one was Jasmine with Miles. Both were beautiful cats, one was brown and one was white. The day after my mom said, "She's gonna burst!" the cat gave birth behind the fridge. We knew because she and Miles had vanished, and we heard ALOT of tiny meows.
The cats were every color BUT brown and white though! One was grey, one was orange, and the other was white and dark brown. Strange, right?
The second house was Mama Cat and Blackie. Blackie is like the father of tons of kittens in that area. We found Mama Cat and Blackie in our drive way one day, and we took Mama Cat into the garage. My mom said the same phrase as with Jasmine, and next day, four adorable kittens are born! Two of them don't survive, but the boys do. Then, Mama Cat takes off with one boy to deliver to the father. The other boy, Sasee, is left alone in our garage...
The thrid house, Mama Cat returned with her other baby. Sasee was living the life of an indoor only cat, and his brother was sold to a good friend. Mama Cat was pregnant yet ANOTHER time! We didn't notice until the very night before she went into labour, she had hidden in the brick box outside. We found her with MORE kittens! We kept only one, the other three went wild. We named the last kitty Angel.
Now we're in house number four, and Samantha, is so big, she looks like she swallowed a bowling ball! My mom said she was expected tonight, so we may have more cats in the morning! So many strays are out here, we're hoping the father is Backster, a very pretty kitty he have. We'll find out tomorrow! (Maybe...)
