Can Flea Drops Be Used In a Lactating Cat?

by Coco
(London, UK)

Question:
Our cat had 6 kittens a week ago. When can I give her flea drops? When is it safe as she is feeding her kittens?

Answer:
There is a wide variety of flea treatment products. But many of them are not safe even for non-lactating females. To make the right decision which product to choose it's always wise to check first with your vet.
