Can a Cat Get a Heat Cycle While Pregnant?

Question:
I have a male and female British shorthair cats which are brother and sister. The male has been castrated and I am trying to breed my girl. Every time she comes in season I take her to the breeders for a few days which she has been 4 times now. Though she settles in and seems quite happy and flirts in front of the male, she will not let him near her and attacks him.
We have tried her with a different male but she is just the same. The male can be in the pen with her for a few days and she will be calling him and sticking her bum in the air but if he goes anywere near her: that's it!
She hasn't had a season for 4 weeks and she has put on weight and her nipples are bright pink. We thought she was pregnant but yesterday she started calling though it is not as bad as she normally calls. Is it possible for a cat to call a bit if pregnant? What can I do about her being frigid?
Answer:
Some cats experience heat cycles even during pregnancy. So her calling behavior is rather normal. And maybe you don't have to be worried about her frigidity. How frigid can she be when everything looks like she is going to become a mom?
