Adopted A Stray And She May Be Pregnant

I have recently moved to a new town and neighborhood, obviously. As soon as we got our thing moved in, we noticed a lot of strays cats outside.

As a cat lover I felt I should give them a decent home. I found this adorable, loving female cat, that we brought into our home and named Pastromi... named after the meat that was used to get her lol.

She's been with us a couple of days and is showing signs of being pregnant. When she came into our home it was/is the middle of winter and if anyone has been through a Iowa winter knows how cold and snowy it gets here.

She was extremely dehydrated because any water that was left outside would instantly freeze. We are now trying to nurse her back to health but scared that as soon as we get her healthy again she's gonna give birth and putting her back in danger.

I'm so scared that I'm gonna lose mama cat and all her babies due to the neglect of others irresponsibilities.
