18 Weeks Pregnancy?!

by Sarah K.
(South Carolina)

My queen, Polly, has my nerves completely on edge! We thought she was pregnant until the week before she was due when our sweet little Polly went into heat again. Surprise surprise, the first 8 weeks had been a false pregnancy!

During that one week of heat she became pregnant and now I'm two weeks away from her due date and I just don't think I can wait any longer. This will be her first litter, and a very large one. I am terrified and excited at the same time!

Hope to get back to you in a few weeks! Note: in the picture she isn't pregnant, just thought I would point that out.

Update
by: Sarah K.

Polly had her kittens, 7 in total, the first was still born but the second never came, she was rushed for an emergency cecarian (sp) (they also fixed her) and lost 5 more kittens, the last kitten surviving. She wanted very little to do with it the vet warned us but we took home mama and baby, unfortunatly 15 mins after we got home the baby died but polly is doing great.

Strange but true
by: Emily

My 2 year old cat did exactly the same. We were really excited to see her tummy growing then she started calling as if on heat. We kept her in but cats are crafty they see a door open and there gone before you have chance to blink. Now she is about 5 weeks pregnant im excited but nervous with the what if going through my mind. The people at the library know me by name as im often a frequent visitor (cant get enough info). I hope everything goes ok for you.
